Utah Entrepreneur Series
The Utah Entrepreneur Series (UES) is a statewide competition process that guides students from the idea to implementation of a successful business. Equipped with mentors, participants refine their business model and sales pitch as they move through the Series. Submissions are judged by industry professionals for a chance to win over $100,000 in cash and in-kind services. There are three competition levels within the Series: techTITANS, Opportunity Quest and the Utah Entrepreneur Challenge. Competitions do not require prior entry to move to the next level; however, students are encouraged to participate in the entire Series for maximum gain.
Student Entrepreneur Conference
This conference, which happens prior to the UES, gathers local professionals and entrepreneurs to share their knowledge with students. It is highly recommended that competition participants attend.
techTITANS
As the first competition of the series, techTITANs is designed to get students thinking. Competitors submit a business idea summary and video for a chance to win $5,000.
Opportunity Quest
Opportunity Quest, the second competition in the series, seeks the most competitive and professional executive summary and video. Competitors win cash prizes awarded by their respective school
Utah Entrepreneur Challenge
As the final competition, the Challenge awards $40,000 to the student team with the best comprehensive business plan and video. Students will receive close mentorship and hone their ideas.
